Weddings at the Thistledome House
Experience a wedding setting like no other at the Thistledome House. An antebellum home, circa 1840, Thistledome resides on four acres in Byhalia, MS historic district. The home was designed in breathtaking Greek Revival Architecture. As a true southern tradition, the home also features a wrap-around porch, covered gazebo and ample acreage outside. Inside you'll find two entertaining parlors, a spacious dining room, an adjoining masculine library for a groomsmen's quarters, and an elegant two-room bridal suite upstairs. Thistledome House offers a charming, historic setting that will be the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding. We are centrally located to I-269 which makes easy access from Memphis TN and surrounding cities.

Tailored to Your Style
At Thistledome House, wedding options can be customized to fit your unique style and preferences. Whether you are looking for an intimate ceremony or a grand reception, we have the perfect atmosphere for you. We provide the back drop and you bring your choice of the vendors & design team. The inside of the house can have up to 64 guests for seating at tables. Our wrap-around porch is ideal for bistro tables. The outdoor gazebo is a quaint space for the couple to say their nuptials. Our lawn is a sprawling four acres providing plenty of space for tables, chairs, a tent, and dance floor. Private paved parking lot for your guest. We currently accommodate a total guest count of 175.

Reservations are on first come first serve basics. A date is only reserved with down payment and signed contract.
Entrance to the property, on the day or at 8am with exit or property by 11pm
Outdoor music end time is 10 pm
Liquor ( beer and wine ) can be served by a licensed ABC bartender.
You can bring your own vendor that has submitted a vendor agreement, business licenses and insurance coverage.
1 hour rehearsal time, time and day to be determined upon agreement.
12-seating 36" bistro tables and 48 fruit wood chairs available for indoor use
additional tables and chairs can be rented
An engagement or Bridal photo session between the couple and photographer is available to be scheduled for a one hour time slot with a prior appointment.
Paved Parking lot with on site security.
We require an additional event insurance policy to be taken out Company will be provided for you.
Half of the rental fee is do at signing and balance due 90 days prior to event date.
Security Deposit of $1,000 is due 30 days prior to event date.
